Testing in the sandbox
Build end to end with test keys: simulated payments, a hosted webhook receiver and live logs.

Test mode
Authenticate with pk_test_… / sk_test_… and every call runs in the sandbox (the token response says "sandbox": true). Test traffic never touches real money. Nothing else in your code changes between test and live.
